ELLIOTT®
OFFERS LOWER PRICES NATIONWIDE |
|
Effective
immediately, ELLIOTT® & Company Appraisers is changing its pricing
structure to that of low-rate flex pricing. Through agreements with
our vendor-suppliers, we are responding to the consumers' expectations
of lower prices.
"There is more emphasis, on the part of borrowers, in getting as much
as they can for their money, and we're interested in helping our
clients, who are, in turn, trying to help their clients," said Charlie
Elliott, president of ELLIOTT® & Company Appraisers. "By reducing our
prices, we expect to increase out volume and create a win-win
situation for everybody."
While rates vary around the country, our new flex-price plan permits
us to offer appraisals as low as $299 in some markets. It will be
higher in others, but every effort is being made to offer the most for
the client's dollar. We ask those looking to take advantage of our new
price structure to call us toll free at (800) 854-5889 and ask for our
best price for an appraisal on a given property.
"We are striving to provide the very best price for what we offer,"
Elliott said. "We're not going to cut our quality, and we're going to
continue to focus on quick turnaround times. We are sensitive to the
needs of our customers and want to provide them with the most they can
expect for their appraisal dollar."

For
the 10th consecutive year, ELLIOTT® & Company Appraisers will host a
continuing education seminar. The next seminar, which we have entitled
"Nuts and Bolts of Appraising," will run March 3-4 at the conference
facility of Greensboro Regional Realtors Association at 23 Oak Branch
Drive in Greensboro.
Joe Durrer, MAI, SRA, of Roanoke, VA, will conduct the 14-hour course.
Mr. Durrer has served as the chairman of the Virginia Real Estate
Board and President of the Virginia Association of Real Estate
Appraisers during his illustrious five-decade career and is widely
respected as an author and instructor in his profession. His
entertaining, as well as professional, style of teaching has made him
popular with appraisers at our past seminars.
This year the subjects being covered are (1) Appraising the
Nuisance/Residue Parcels, (2) The Practicality of the Income Approach,
(3) Appraising Vacant Land and Incorporating Subdivision Development
and (4) Oh! Those Common Errors We Make. The seminar is expected to
draw appraisers from all over North Carolina, South Carolina and
Virginia.
