Mine Properties cover a broad range of different types of
mineral extraction. The types include sub-surface Mines as well as surface
Mines. Mines typically include shaft or
surface mining area, as well as mineral processing buildings and equipment in
connection with developing the material into a finished product. Typically Mines have substantial amounts of
equipment which include both personal property and in-place real property. Estimating
the value of a Mine is a complex undertaking which involves estimating the
supply of sub surface mineral reserves, in addition to the more tangible
surface property rights including plant and equipment.
