Who We Are

Elliott, a division of Nationwide Property & Appraisals, LLC, established in 1980, is a nationwide property evaluation company based in Greensboro, N.C. We provide professional services in all states and in all counties in the United States.

Elliott performs property evaluation services primarily for the business community; however we also serve individuals from time to time as circumstances warrant. Our services are designed to solve a variety of valuation needs including those associated with finance, insurance, taxation, construction, development, property sales and investment. We deliver our product through state of the art electronic systems in an environment designed to relieve clients with many of the administrative and regulatory compliance burdens confronting business today. It is our goal to deliver a high quality product quickly and economically to our clients.

The Elliott team is comprised of industry experienced professionals who are dedicated to the management of the day to day activities of the company. With over 100 years of combined experience, our seasoned team is able to offer specialty assistance in solving complex and difficult assignments.

Our panel of industry professionals include a variety of the most capable real estate practitioners in the industry. Elliott is a vendor management company maintaining a vendor database of many professionals including appraisers, consultants, brokers, surveyors, geologist, engineers, paralegals, lawyers and building contractors.

Quality Service

We answer our telephone calls in real time from our home office in Greensboro, North Carolina, by employees who are appraisal industry savvy. We do not outsource services overseas. Each order is assigned to an experienced and dedicated client service specialist, who stays with the project until it is shipped and accepted by the client.

Whether it is an update on the status of an order placed two hours ago, or a comprehensive monthly report detailing hundreds of client orders, our system is up to the task of keeping the client abreast of all of their business which we manage.

Our Team

Carlyle Holt - Senior Vice President & General Manager

Carlyle Holt serves as Senior Vice President and General Manager of the firm. Mr. Holt currently holds a Trainee Real Estate Appraiser License and is working toward a Certified General Appraiser License, is a practicing affiliate with the Appraisal Institute, is a state licensed real estate broker and a graduate of North Carolina State University with a B.S. degree in Economics. In addition to having been employed by the firm since 2006, he has an extensive background in mortgage loans, title insurance, property and casualty insurance, and commercial and residential construction restoration. Mr. Holt’s experiences qualify him to deal with many of the needs of our clients, relating to mortgage loan underwriting, title insurance claims, insurance replacement cost and new construction appraisals.

Scott Riggsbee - Client Services Director

Scott Riggsbee serves as the company's Client Services Director. Mr. Riggsbee served in the United States Navy prior to earning his Real Estate Broker License, starting his career in commercial and residential real estate sales and establishing a successful web marketing company. Since joining the firm in 2012, he has proven to be an integral part of the company through his focus and dedication in developing meaningful and efficient solutions to some of our clients most complex evaluation needs. His unique ability to research, target and analyze data and details quickly allows him to professionally address any evaluation request.

Haley Freedman - Chief Valuation Officer

Haley is a second generation Certified General Appraiser with 40 years’ experience in the industry. Procession education includes numerous appraisal courses taught by the Appraisal Institute and The Society of Real Estate Appraisers. Haley has received several awards from employers and peers over the years and is regarded as a leader in the industry by many.
