For purposes of our service offering, we separate Plants and Factories as evidenced herein. While they are similar, and in some cases perhaps the terms overlap, we have reserved the term Factory for larger and more complex properties. We typically use the term Plant for smaller more single purpose industrial processing uses. The term Factory is used most often to describe as supporting a broad range of processes, resulting in a finished product. Automobile Factories and Furniture Factories are typical examples of such properties. Due to their broad range of support facilities, sometimes under one roof, appraisals can be a challenge.
Contact ELLIOTT® when your needs are to evaluate a Factory property. We have a network of appraisers nationwide ready to serve your needs.
